Looking for recommendations to take my girlfriend snow tubing for a day together. I live in NJ (Ocean County) and don't know whats the best place to go. Wanted to go somewhere nice since she likes to drink wine by fire pits. please help me out.

Not sure how far you want to go, are you planning on staying overnight? Both Camelback and Blue Mountain offer snow tubing and have decent lodges. Camelback has a nice hotel(got married there).
Theres also Shawnee but I'd drive the extra half hour.

Just wanted to do a day trip. Dont know which one was better over the other one. Wanted to go to a nice Lodge for her since she enjoys drinking wine and fire pits. But still want to go to a nice Hill that will make the memories enjoyable.

I haven't been skiing in years, but I live in the area and Caamelback, Blue Mt., Shawnee are all places you may want to check in to. The Pocono's are about 3 hrs from Ocean county. I don't know of any ski/tubing places closer.

It's been a while since I frequented any, but I think Blue is going to be your best bet. Have a look at their websites though, and call and ask questions.

Blue mountain is great. One thing to think about though is their snow tubing is at the bottom of the moutain at the bottom lodge, while there nice lodge where the tend to have some nice outdoor seating, fire pits, outdoor drinks/food is at the top lodge which you would need to drive up to. They sank a lot of money into the top lodge and it's a very nice place to hang out. There's also mountain creek in NJ. Havn't been there so I can't comment on it, but it may be a bit closer.

To be honest it has been so damned long since I have been to any of them I can't separate them in my mind. Sorry. Maybe check out the websites and look at pictures of the clubhouses and tubing facilities.

PS. at some of them I believe you can rent a private cabin for a night or weekend. There are also plenty of hotels.
