Well, I wouldn't consider some dude stuck in a compound in the middle of the wasteland to be a reliable source on the number of functioning Ford Falcon XB GTs.

I'm actually reminded of my father for some reason. He has this thing for late 70's Ford vans with the Pathfinder Quadravan 4x4 conversion. He's owned like 8 of the darn things over the years. He has 3 of them right now. He just can't help but make an offer on one every time he sees one.

I could just picture old Max immediately needing to find a new Falcon every time his gets wrecked, even if just a body to stick on a cobbled together frame. Hence his vehicle called the Camel Wagon in Beyond Thunderdome. There's a Falcon XB body just barely discernible on what's technically a lifted F-150.
