Snowing again and weather guy says for two days running.. going to have to plow out the structure again.... dang..
And it has warmed up a lot ...somewhat over 10 degrees now... sweet........

I have extreme cold weather gear and only my face and my hands get cold now...

No work today, going over to a friends house to install a tranny in his truck...

It is beautiful up here in the ole pgp mountains I have to say... snow is dry as can be, can't even make a snowball...
Some good clear days would be appreciated....

Today is plow day... last few days were snow days and received another foot and a half of the beautiful white powder... love the stuff but it is starting to hamper the ole building project...
Can't even see my pallets of wood anymore..... just look like humps on the ground...
I could use some experienced snow shovelers for a day or two...haha...
Not going to let some lil snow flakes stop me now....( positive thoughts )...
The shop must go up........( more positive thoughts)...

Took some pictures of the white stuff covering the pallets of wood.. there are eight loads out there somewhere...
Also a picture of the white stuff around the shop...
Had to plow the drive and around the house, also had to drive the tractor five miles down the road to dig out my buddies trooper... it was way down in a hole...so this will be a tomorrow project...

Plowed out the front, back sides and interior of shop... what a job...
Also cleared out three of the eight stacks of lumber...

Managed to install the inside headers today before it got to dark..

Was a good day today...

Tomorrow I will be installing the bolts and nuts for the headers, the blocks between the headers and doing the layout for the roof trusses... yea.....

White stuff can not hold the walz back.... onward and forward I say.....

Picture of progress.

I bolted up one half of the headers and ran out of juice.. ( forgot to plug the charger up..)..

I also found and moved all the stacks of lumber on the side of shop so crane has room to swing trusses up.. Yep, the trusses are due thurs... worked my butt off moving the lumber and then plowing the area out.. had to plow a bit more around the drive as the rig is a boom truck with a fifty foot trailer...
Crossing my fingers on the trusses as I just caught word that they may not show as the truss company is way behind on orders.. if I don't get them Thursday i will have to plow the white stuff that falls from the sky again, it gets deep here...
Tomorrow I'll finish up the bolt up on the headers add blocks and rebrace walls..
I have two days to do this....might be able to install some window boxes also...

Forgot I'm so close to the border... of course I mean roof crutches....
Worked my buttons off today and didn't get all I wanted done...
Drilled out and installed all the bolts and nuts at the headers and cut most of the stubs but I didn't finish the blocking on one side... still need to re brace the one side wall also...
Tomorrow is a new day...
I'm going to have to start early as the trusses ( I mean crutches) are coming at ten am tomorrow...
I think im just going to have them set aside as it supposed to snow and more snow...
Hope not but will see how it goes...
Picture of side cleared of lumber stacks and shop cleared of the white stuff..

That's my Boss in the foreground. Tough but fair...
