Prayer request for a friend and fellow paintballer

My friend, Pastor Ray Wolfe, is a Youth Pastor at a local church. Like me, he believes paintball is a great way to reach young people. Last year he and I joined our groups together to play a massive woodsball game.

Ray is currently on his way to Johns Hopkins hospital to hopefully get treatment for the form of leukemia he has been battling for a while now.

Please pray and believe with me that this trip will bear great fruit and that he will be fully restored in his health and back on the field. Also pray that his family stays strong and gets great support through the fight. Pray for the youth group he leads that they can stay strong for him.

This guy is pretty awesome and I just want him to know that people are behind him- even some whom he may never meet. I believe that I WILL see this guy on the battlefield again soon and I want you guys to believe with me please.

My prayers go out to him and everyone he come in contact with that God's glory may be seen throughout this. Hopes and wishes for a safe, speedy trip and for good news on the health front!

A note to my non-Christian brethren - the above statement may seen like nonsense to you, but God can work incredible miracles in ANY situation. Even when a person is face to face with a possible life-ending illness, God's eternal love and peace can and will shine through in the life of a true believer.

Update on Ray:

I finally talked to him Tuesday. Lots of meds, lots of tests. Next up is a bone marrow biopsy and hopefully a bone marrow transplant. He talked about what was going on for about 3 minutes, and then asked when the next paintball game was so he could bring his youth group out to play with our group. That's just how he rolls.

Keep up the prayers.
