| Day off? Even if we did, I would have to pull a double the next day to get deadlines met. Besides, Ive got VPN and 2 19" screens at home... I can pretty much do everything there that I can here.

Yeah, well the schools give kids optional days when it hits -40 or something. (I think) I do like your wording, "Potentially more snow," as I envy everyone back east now with their oodles of snow this winter compared to our nothing and butt tight cold. I think the last time there was a bunch of snow I was at UMaine in Orono and we got 3 days off during the winter which was pretty unheard of since they didn't like to cancel classes. I guess the snow cycle goes in 7 or 8 year spurts or something.

| On the subject of snow and bad weather. Here, this year, it has snowed more than usual. Truth be told I am sick of it. A usual winter, 2-4 inches every couple of days. But this year it just keeps coming, and we don't get days off. We get to drive through whiteouts and snowdrifts. But I'll take the snow over Lis's cold. We average minus 15-20 over the winter but living in minus 30-40, nope too friggin cold. |

| Called up the shop this morning at 430am... Told them Hell No !!!! They laughed and said have a nice weekend.... Pretty easy going company... They know those 2wd chevy van's in the snow are useless in North NJ.... anyway.... Just did a 2hr snowblowing run on the 400' road and 100' driveway... should only have to hit it one more time later tonight or tomorrow am.. recent deck picture.... ![]() |

| That's what I was gonna say. Up in the frozen boonies of North America, your car can be covered and the temperature -40*C, and it's not gonna be a snow day. Of course, nobody cares if you don't show up, but still. |

| Snow days are GOD sends when your school is only 800 people and all the professors live within 20 minutes.. I like just hanging out, gaming, messing w/ my gats, and sleeping..
