I think you need a reboot AgentSmith.

Here's a little saying I made up myself (cause, you know, I'm a pretty smart guy and can do those kinds of things):

if the shoe doesn't fit, why are you trying to put it on?

December 25th has alot of connotations. Not just in Rome (who coincidentally stole all their gods from Greece). It's also Ameterasu in Japan, Meán Geimhridh in The Celtic Religions, Midvinterblót in Asatru (a part of Yule, where the tradition of the Tree actually came from). And if you would read the original post I actually said that December 25th was stolen like everything else that Christians associate with 'Their' Holidays.

Just like one wonders if the jewish/islamic prohibition against associating with pigs has anything to do with the fact that there was a pig worshiping cult in the region prior to and during the semitic migration into the area...

You can trace them all back to earlier fertility/harvest festivals, and back from there to cave bear worshipers. Fear and worship the cave bear, for he is the one who has provided shelter and allows us to scavenge the remains of his kills so that we may eat and consumes the sick and infirm and wicked among us.

Yep, sounds kinda familiar.

i was making the point that most of the so-called christian holidays are stolen from somewhere else. Isn't that the same point you were making?

"Oooo. All you righteous believers have atoms of unbelievers in you. Better take a shower..."

Smart people don't carry a whole post talking to one respondent, then post an unrelated remark at the end without expecting the respondent to feel it was directed to them.

But that seems to be you(only judging from the extremely sparse evidence of this thread). You post whatever incoherent misspelled jibberish you take a cotton to, then call everyone else stupid because we don't speak the magical language, 'Stevendavidson'.

Since I have no plans on learning it, I won't bother with you any more, it's just frustrating.

Can't we all just kill each other in a nice civilized manner? You know with big long sharp pointy things and let the robots take care of them selves?

Its stevedavidson, leave out the 'n'.

You want things written in coherent sentences and paragraphs on a forum?

LOL.

You're coming dangerously close to the 'grammer and speeling' attack, which is second only to the 'Nazi' attack in terms of ineffectiveness and loss prediction.

Personally, I prize COMPREHENSION over either spelling or grammer, but that's me.

If you want copyedited copy, go pick up The Complete Guide to Paintball. Unhappily, there are no anti-religious chapters in there.

What, no quotes this time?

***

I was actually supporting your argument and my comment about the shower was being directed at those who had a problem with your implications, not at you, hence my second statement to you about shoes and wearing the wrong size. Sorry if I'm not into nose-leading.
