I feel as well like I am getting old... I haven't been able to play paintball for about 3 weeks as I have been on my back with some virus...I have never been sick for 3 weeks before, and I blame age. I am usually at the gym 5 days a week, but this is just killing me, and is beginning to cast doubt on castle which is still a month away... I better get better... Stupid AGE!

That's awful Mar! It sounds like a lot of what has been going around tho.
I wouldn't entirely blame age on it, everyone has had it up here, even the younger folks.

Thanks Listessa! I know this sounds odd but I have been glad when I hear that others have been afflicted the same: it helps me to believe the diagnosis ( I wasn't sure my doc was right...it just seemed to much to be a silly virus...)

Yeah, no prob!
I was pretty useless for more than a month (didn't go to a doctor) around the holidays. The thing wouldn't go away, and then lingered till almost February.

My boss is NEVER out sick, and this thing had him out for two days in a row. We were all amazed about that one too. Nasty one this year, all over the country. Just when I got better I heard from my mom back in NH that she came down with it too.

The flu and a nasty viral infection have been flattening people around here for a couple of months. I work in the schools and at a university, and literally every teacher and professor I know -including a large number of undergrads and students- have missed at least 2-3 consecutive days at least once with one of the two illnesses. Some people have relapsed 3 or 4 times, and these are folks who are NEVER ill. I've never seen anything this bad in all my years in education. It's a rough year for bad infections that linger -it's not all age.

A few weeks ago I had a pretty achy back- my t11/t12 vertebraes lock up and cause all kindsa whining and bitching on my part. I went to my chiro friend and that got me all fixed up.

Then 2 days later I ran around in the forest bent over trying to be small, toting a 10lb double Phoon all day.

I could hardly walk the next day.

Damn I'm getting old.

If you think you caught the sickness now, just wait until your kid starts school and brings home the elementry school plague to your household.

I had that flu deal earlier this year. Yeah, it's a nasty one. But it's not age or conditioning related.

Home again today on nice pills. The pain and stiffness and even the hot spot is out away from the spine so I'm guessing I tore some fiber in there. Relax today and go to work tomorrow but do mostly light stuff. I know I need to move it once the initial healing is underway or it'll lock up solid.

I luv Robaxicet....
