| See Matt Mod. Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Bethlehem CT | Many of my closest friends are insane Sox fans. The two recent championships have taken much of the fun out of it. No more Bambino Curse. No more "1918" chants at Yankee Stadium during a Yanks/Sox series. A good old "Buck Dent" comment doesn't even have much effect anymore. But deep inside, most adult Sox fans are grossly insecure in baseball terms. Enough pricking will bring out the old paranoia. I've only been shoved once at Fenway for wearing my Yankees hat. I had the pleasure of attending the 1996 World Series at Yankee Stadium, in the bleachers. Some guy two rows back was wearing a Braves hat. It was pulled off his head, chewed, stomped on, and finally lit afire. Classic. |
