Every Dog has its Day
New addicting online game for all you engineers
I got this game sent to me by my Statics professor at the beginning of the semester. She said that by the end of the semester we would double our scores.
A friend recently reminded me of it.
Basically make the tallest tower you can:
Insurgo - Free Puzzle and Board Game from AddictingGames
My high score was 2675.

SoCal's tango instructor.
The faster you go, the bigger the bonus.
Slowly set up a fat base. Have to be quick to get good angles.
Then rack up points going up as fast as you can, setting the standard support box.
After 5-6, stop and begin supporting your bottom again.
I didn't really do this until about halfway up my standard tower, when I found out you could do that. little too late for me, since my tower was leaning all the hell over, but it worked.

Traded guns for cameras
I'm just going straight up. No extra support, no extra cross bracing. As fast as I can. I seem to be maxing out at 3600
Like all good engineering projects, do it quickly, cheaply, take the credit, then run the other way when it all falls apart.
