So one of my guys took a day off...

And we just happened to set up a $20,000.00 large format printer/scanner on the day JP took an unscheduled vacation day. It left us with a HUGE stack of packaging material that we would have to throw away...

...OR, we could get creative!

The view down the "street" to JP's "house"...

Jp's flowerbox...

JP's mailbox...

...with JP's mail...

JP's front door...

...and the inside of his house featuring his wedding photo.

The door knobs work, and the door opens and closes and locks. The best part is that nothing we did affected his ability to come in and work. In fact, he's still in there happy as a clam.

Everything we used was part of the packing material for the large format printer, and we STILL tossed out 3 big loads of stuff to the dumpster.

It's fully roofed over. It's nice and dark. We completely sealed off his cube. The window by the fire alarm lets in some light, but you could comfortably nap in there if you wanted to.

Oh sure now he will be napping all day and get nothing done.

Took about 2 hours on and off. I manage a helpdesk, so all my crew couldn't be off the phones for the entire time. Everyone pitched in. I declare it a "team building exercise".
