Iron Man Movie spoilers and discussion

OK, for the rest of us, a geek out section!

A few things:

Did you notice that the terrorist was the Mandarin? He was messing with a ring of power on his hand. The gang was referred to as the "Ten Rings"- a refernce to the Mandarin! Score!

If you stayed til the end, you see Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury! Why isn't he white? Because Nick Fury in the Ultimates series is drawn to look like Samuel L.

I was surprised to see it not be Hasselhoff. I mean how epic would that have been?!!??! Srsly. But not as epic to not hear S.L.J. scream "I CAME TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE MOTHER****IN AVENGERS INITIATIVE!"

It would have been the best use of the "F" bomb since "The Ringer" with Johnny Knoxville.

Liked this one a lot. Gwyneth Paltrow looked great as a redhead.

I was never a huge Iron Man fan (didn't hate it, just never really read it) but I liked it. I still like the line where the young trooper asks if it's cool to take a photo and he replies "yes, it's very cool."

Also, the whole S.H.I.E.L.D. thing at the end was pretty cool too.
