Him flying around drunk in a Supra that daddy payed for and ruining the rest of a veteran's life doesn't deserve jail time?? I beg to differ...

The veteran that got into the car and let him drive. Don't take this the wrong way. But they hit a tree being drunk and stupid. It isn't like they hit an innocent person on the sidewalk. I live in Fl. and cannot recall anyone getting 8 months for this.

I believe jail time is right on the spot..most likely he will get out early with good behavior...Don't forget the passenger was/is his best friend and he will have this on his mind 24/7 the rest of his life....

Think about this. The Hogan's can obviously afford the best lawyers on earth and the kid got 8 months. That screams of setting an example because of media exposure. I could see jail time if they hit an innocent person not involved in the stupidity. I am sure the Hogan's were already going to cover the injured persons expenses forever, in addition to the inevitable law suit for millions.

Another travesty of the judicial system.

If I did that to my best friend, 8 months would not be enough.....
