I apologize for that post, it is not exactly how I wanted to state my opinion.

What I meant to say was that when you convert to Islam you take an Islamic name. Correct me if I am mistaken. Would not the same apply to converting to Christianity?

As for his patriotism He has been unable to convince me that he is in fact patriotic. Well to America atleast.

You do realize that Barack Obama is not a Muslim name, right, and there really isn't such a thing as a "Muslim name"? Muslims often take Arabic names.

You do realize that Islam and Christianity come from the same part of the world, and that so-called "Christian names" are Anglicized versions of Semitic/Hebrew words, which are closely related to Arabic, right?

You do realize that Barack Obama is the name he was born with, and, like the vast majority of americans, by itself has nothing to do with what religion he practices, right?

I may be wrong about the religious afilliation but am I wrong about his message? All Politician's are Liars and thieves in one form or another. Do I believe in any of the Candidates...No. I will pick basically the lesser of two evils and Hope I make the right choice but I can guarantee it will not be Obama. I only wish Collin Powell would run again because he would definitely have my vote...
