If you are in New England and have never been to the Shrine Parade before the Maple Sugar Bowl at Dartmouth you really need to check it out.

Car & Driver magazine recently did a road-test of some of the Shriner cars. It was pretty funny.

Congrats GMP on reaching your destination. My father is past Master of MT Olivet AF+AM in Cambridge, MA, where I am about to become Lodge secretary. He is also on the Directors staff at Alleppo Shrine in Wilmington. If your travels find you in the Boston area, we would be more than honored if you would visit.

This actually reminds me of a story! - In the youth group, DeMolay, one of our friends showed up on the night that he was going to join (at a point in the not so distant past when hazing wasn't taken as seriously). Well it was a redneck town even for VT and we had been giving him crap (kids being kids)about having to

a goat. So he's waiting outside and a few of the guys started making goat noises from teh other side of the door. The look on his face was priceless. Then the advisors found out what the noises were all about, they didn't see the humor in it like we did.

I visited Lodge in Ludlow a few years back as I have family in that area. I will look you up when I next plan a trip down that way. Also if you ever find yourself in central Vermont we would be glad to have you for dinner and a meeting at the lodge.
