Well some of you may have gone to a school were, as a senior you put your secret ambition in the yearbook, or for that matter a stone tablet.

Last night mine not so secret ambition was achieved. I was installed as Master of Summit Lodge #104 Williamstown VT Free and Accepted Masons. The same lodge that my grandfather was Master of so many years ago.

This is somethign that I have worked for since I was young and working with Masonic youth groups so I felt the need to share as MCB, much like my lodge, has become a bit of a home away from home.

Congratulations!

Back in the 60's I used to play in a rock and roll dance band. We used to get a lot of gigs with Demolay and Constellation groups when they held dances.

Good times, but i got to tell ya, that some of the stuff I saw in the back rooms that we set up our gear in kind of creeper me out a little!

That was one of my favorite parts when I was younger I would travel to different lodges and get into every room I could just to see what was there it was amazing what we found.

One thing that boggled my mind for the longest time was a stairwell, that seemed to end, just end nothing at all put a small landing at the top, not even a light to be found. It hurt my brain

Now that I have been back there an dknow that there is a little slide window aimed at a progector screen it makes perfect sence.

No, this was a couple years before the "kissing babies and eating flowers" movement got to Southwestern NY. We were more of a quart of Bud and pack of Luckies folk.

why not? flowers certainly smell better then babies. and I for one would much rather have a house full of flowers then a house full of babies.
