In some ways, I think I depend upon the delay inherent in the shifting process to keep my car on the road. When I hear about flatout acceleration with finger flipping shifts, I cannot help but thing of those slot cars I loved so much as a "kid". I don't know D, they use this same setup in F1 racing and they tend to stay on the track for the most part.
You get the same feedback from the car when you hit the shifts, you just get rid of the delay in the changing of the gates.
I will have to take you out for a spin at pump pandemonium.
