For a minute I thought you were talking about the new BMW concept car with a fabric exterior. That one has no visible door hinge or lights.

I thought I saw this posted about a year ago.
Neat idea, though if you get t-boned you're probably stuck.
I wonder how much extra weight this adds to the already hefty Mk 8.

I don't see that working well in Wisconsin or any other nothern state. 6" or clearence and 8"-9" of snow and salt and road gravel.....dont need a degree to figure out how well that would work. But for a custom show car or similar, it would be a welcome change to the miriad of gull wing and lambo doors that all of America seems to be in love with on all of the custom cars now a days. Very fresh concept!
