My Computer Crashed (Blue Screen Of Death)

After scrolling through dead threads in the gaming forum, I came across a thread called Digital Paintball. Inside, I found out that Digital Paintball is a game. It sounded cool, I downloaded it. In order to play that, you need a program called Steam. I then downloaded Steam. After not getting the game or steam to work, I tried uninstalling Steam. After that, it required me to restart my computer, I did. When the computer came back on, a blue screen appeared and it stayed there for a long time. "The system has been shut down blah blah blah....". There was no way to get out of this screen so I went on my laptop and googled about this. It turns out that people call it "the blue screen of of death". I called Microsoft (India) and asked a guy about it. As soon as I said the words "blue screen", he automatically said, "Your computer crashed..."

It seems that this problem is very common, especially when people uninstall something then restart their computer. Hopefully this will help some of you in the future.

PS-I'm using a laptop right now

Yes, digital paintball is actually a mod that requires a the half life 2 engine.
Steam is just an online distributor that carries it.

Good luck with the computer though!

Actually, after all these years of using steam, I have yet to encounter a problem. It has been very reliable and a great source for me to pick up some great games.

You're the first I've heard say they actually like it.
