The thing about Metal-licka now is that they're all about making money. If they sound like they did in the '80's it wont be genuine. It'll be concocted to sell records. At least back then they were leaders, not followers.

I can honestly say I have found something good on every album they released......Not every album is comprised of #1's and is amazing throughout its entirety..

St. Anger was a transitional period for Metallica, I really look forward to hearing the new album and what Rob Trujillo brings to the mix now that he isnt the "New Kid"

...No doubt it will be better.

Ooooooof.. I am a die hard fan of their older stuff but after load it all went down hill.... This may be the thorn bush as the end of that hill right before you roll out into the road and get hit by a grey hound bus.

Yeah guys, its been a steady progression downhill for them. After Black Album they started to fall. Im sure you all know this already though

Dont get your hopes up. Metal bands dont need to have their front man take singing lessons... I hope it gets better, but Im not holding my breath.
