So let's abuse another human to pay them back! That makes us civil - and human.

By that logic, we shouldn't have an element of punishment in the system, period. Anything done should be done to "rehabilitate" (prevent future crimes) or to "educate" (trigger a consenience response--which, of course, requires that one feel that raping another being is bad act... good luck).

Rehabilitation and Education are all well and good so far as they go, but these things are called "crimes" and not "mistakes" for a reason--they are deliberate abuses committed against entirely innocent individuals for the least morally justifiable reasons.

Should there be nothing done to punish the person who chooses to disregard the rights of the innocent? Incarceration and execution, by your way of thinking, must simply be... different kinds of abuse?

Keep in mind that putting an end to a human life, or imprisoning a human being, are merely actions. Without a moral context, you can't attibute values to them (i.e., describing any given action as "abuse"). For example, one man choosing to kill another because he wants that man's shoes would be, at best, described as "abuse." An impartial--even defendant partial--system put in place by a democratic society finding that the first man did in fact kill the second for his shoes, and then further finding that such act deserved punishment by death can be described as "abuse" only by one who doesn't think too hard about either justice or morality.

Aww man... sorry to hear about your day.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better one. At least you weren't a chick and didn't spill water down your boobs while wearing a white tshirt in front of a ton of men.

Could be a lot worse.

I`ve shot all my yard squirrels and bunnies. I`ll just have to wait until their brothers get less wary to take some of my own pictures.

My day didn't get much better till I got home and read the posts in this thread. Foughtwolf that was an awesome song and had me laughing. As for Listessa I almost wish I did have boobies and a white t-shirt, I would never leave my house .
