| Paint on the carpet is an easy fix. Now orange paint on lace curtains, that will definately spin up your wife, especially when her friends will be arriving approximately ten minutes after said incident..

| Hot water. Hot water and a rag. Take the water and get the area pretty wet, then scrub on the area and add a little more water. It will fade nearly a hundred percent away if its done immediately. I have had numerous breaks on carpeting throughout the years and the only one that water has not solved was popcorn ceiling. In the case of the popcorn ceiling I just scraped off the afflicted area then applied new stuff. As for the carpeting though make sure you can suck up the water when you are close to being done. After the first scrub check it then do it again if needed. I have only had to scrub twice for a total stain removal.
