There is Rue, Valerian, and Wormwort amongst the more mundane Bowles mint, Tarragon, Garlic, etc... Just this year, and never before, there is Cannabis growing in there. What do I do? Leave it there and hope the neighbors don't notice? It's already knee high and will soon be higher than the Queen Annes' Lace (a very tall wild carrot) Should I pull it out, and dispose of it? There ain't enough to fill a pipe at this stage, even if it's worth trying to smoke it. Plus there's no guarantee it's going to be a female plant with buds and all, it could be no more than Hemp suitable for making rope. It's not like this is intentional, I didn't plant it there. Right now, it's a single plant but sure to propogate if I leave it (bad pun, I know) So here's the question for all you. IF you found marijuana growing in your yard, and being the sort of person who enjoys it, would you pull it out?

you said it yourself it ain't enough, and it's no good to leave it there for all to see, plus the effort to grow it indoors may cost a lot. | |

Naturally occurring cannabis is nearly always Cannabis Ruderalis, which is a DISTANT cousin of the stuff that is fun to smoke. The return of Ruderalis Good luck, D

I'm almost sure they would, most of them know about the stuff either through personal experience or internet pictures. I've seen wild Hemp over 7 feet tall and having one single plant that much bigger than the rest sorta stands out... On the other hand, Hemp is a salable commodity (saleable ?) meaning you can legally grow it to sell for production of rope and other textile goods. K'. Right now, I'll let it grow until it becomes a nusiance. Then tear it out before it's full grown if anyone says anything about it. After all, I can't justify one plant to sell. Oh, and if I wanted to move it...Often does not work well. Generally kills the plant for an entire season. Next year it might come back. (basing that on other plants I've dealt with) And I have 130+ acres of family tree farm to plant it in, tried to grow it when I was younger. All I ended up with was a lot of knawed-off stubs and a bunch of happy deer. (Hunting was easy those years)
