The last guy that ran him over came back to check on him. That was kinda cool.

yeah, that was cool for him to come back to check on him. you don't see that often in this sport. they actually red flagged the race and restarted it after the guy was taken off the track.

that was a damn hard crash even before everyone ran over him. he was knocked out cold from the initial crash.

i laughed at one of the fans comment in the private video... "he's f-in' done" then the girl yells "shut-up".

his nickname now is "speed bump". lol... he's getting that patch put on the butt of his pants.

Yeah I heard that too. Pretty funny.

Good thing he was out before they ran him over. You can see that his body's relaxed and rolling. If he were tensed up the damage could have been much worse.

Thats what kept me off the track....I could ride like hell when I was younger, I prefered to do so alone....getting into the crowds of bikes never made me feel comfortable.
The rear sprocket and chain on those bikes are brutal...Saw a few finger dissappear in the first corner pile up of a race once....yuck...

your right Curt, that probably saved him.

motocross can be a brutal sport, especially when you crash at the front of 40 riders and end up knocked out on the blind side of a jump.

you see some pretty brutal stuff in the Supercross(indoor stadiums) too but they don't run near the speeds they do in the outdoors motocross. they are running in high gear wide open and when they crash, it's bad!!!

checkout this old footage of Doug Henry busting his *** during the outdoor season. he cracked two vertabrae in this one. they named this 'Henry hill' after this crash. make sure you watch the whole video.

YouTube - Doug Henry

and here's another crash of Mike Alessi(guy in the first video i posted) when he gets landed on again. this was way before his bad crash and he got luckier in this one.

YouTube - Mike Alessi gets a bike in his neck :P
