Holy Banknote, Batman!

A $100,000,000,000 bill?
AT&T

The U.S. of A may have problems, but I'm glad to be here instead of there.
Can you imagine 1.2 quadrillion dollars for a laptop?

So bread does NOT cost 100 billion here? Hmmm......I think i've been buying my bread at the wrong market. Unless it's raisin bread, and the raisins are all 1 carat black diamonds.

anyone else think that the international market for those 100 billion dollar bills will be huge? It'll be mostly for the novelty value, but I'd imagine that action, inturn, would cause their inflation to skyrocket even further

So does this mean Mugabe has made good on his promise to make every citizen into a quadrillionaire if they voted for him?

No, they ousted "the man" who ran all the farms, and gave it to "the people", turning the breadbasket of Africa into just another dirt hole and tanking their economy.

Just another socialist government reaping the fruits of its efforts.

By the time these things get printed it really won't make that much of a difference if things there keep going the way they are now.

I was talking with a guy here at work whose parents still live in Africa and they said that Zimbabwe is crazy. If it wasn't for this new bill people would (and probably still are) be walking around with gobs of cash on their person.... you know how annoying it is to have someone pay for a big item with change... take for example buying a dvd with pennies.... now buy that same dvd with bills that are worth 1/100 or 1/1000 or a penny. Fun! That's how bad things are.

Schmitti, problem is they'll have to carry wads of the new bills by next week...

Printing money like Zimbabwe is doing is for one reason only, to steal from its own people.
