Myspace Pedophile...Alan Dean Sims

So about a week and a half ago I was sitting on the desktop computer. The computer when turned on automatically logs into whosever myspace was last logged on. Generally I just close it out or just close any IM's out that was sent to her by her friends. A message pops up and like normal I went to close it out, as I scrolled across the screen to the X the person info pops up. Name: Dean....Age 33...Gender Male. My first instinct was that my daughter had been talking to this guy so I talked back to pick for info. If she had been talking to a 33 year old male online, she was in for a huge problem with me.

After talking with him "posing as my daughter" I quickly figured out that she had never talked to him before. The guy was fast to start asking personal information about the body and sexual experiences. The guy was wanting to meet up andwas very explicit in what he wanted to do at this meeting.

Fast forward about 4 days....

He pops up with another message. He was wanting to meet again and was talking about what he wanted to do. Just so happens we had already contacted the Sheriffs Office. We already had an appointment set up with the sex crimes officers. The next morning we went to the SO and logged into her myspace at the SO. The officers start talking to him and he quickly solicits sex again.

Right there, with soliciting they had enough to arrest, but they still didn't know who he was. The guy was dumb enough to even talk to an under cover agent on the phone posing as the 14 year old. She was in her 30's..."what a moron"

The undercovers talked to him for nearly 3 hours until he finally wanted to meet again.

They set up a meeting place and he shows up. The arrest was made at the Mcdonalds downtown on poinsett hwy friday around 3.

Here is a news report on him that the attorney general has released. His case has gone to the state attorney general and not being tried by the county of greenville.

If any of you know this guy tell him he is very lucky, I didn't find out who he was before the undercover officers did.

I'm glad the good guys got to him before he made contact with your kid.
