Played in middle school and high school in band. Drum Captain Junior/Senior year. Quads/quints, bass, and all the orchestra pieces (I was pretty partial to the timpani). Did a drum line thing in the spring. Fun times, though I stopped when I got into JC. I've gotten pretty serious about music again, though, and I've recently started composing and looking for a good electronic drum set.

Been playing set since freshman year HS and still do (almost 8 years). Trying to get a band off the ground with a few other guys but haven't been successful.
Also in HS I played cymbals, bass, tris, quints, and quads for marching and percussion ensembles. All this while playing mainly alto and baritone sax (concert and jazzband). I was a huge band geek.

I played since 4th grade. We had one of the best bands in the state. I just recently sold my drum set though because I dont see myself playing anymore. Maybe someday.

Played all in high school in the marching band.
Started on bass. But I have mad quint/tenor skilz haha.

But I quit this year (senior year). I always started to much trouble with the band director. and they are doing a Blues Brothers show

I also played drum set it a Ska band for a year, then in a Jazz band.

I played in jr high. quit when the band director said to me " We don't need you, you need us" Told him I didn't need him and walked out. Great self esteem builder for a 12 year old.

I smashed away for a few years back in late 80's-early 90's in a band. Never made any money at, but plenty of good stories. I moved on to a brief stint playing cornet in a Ska band in Boston. I then was out of music for a long time.

Now my 18-month-old son seems to enjoy beat and rhythm, so I'm looking into a set of electronic drums for home use (can't get away with real drums at night in Japan, you see.) Right now I like the looks of the ones Roland makes.
