London Olympic Topiary Bus

I just got done watching that part of the Olympic closing ceremony...am I the only one who thought it was totally retarded? I mean, usually I like topiary but really, it's like the whole thing was designed and choreographed by a guy who has never done acid, but thinks he knows what it's like.

I was holding it together until I saw the chick in the wheelchair get up and dance around

whats the point in it lasting forever, I mean come one, with a billion citizens to abuse, extort and overwork, couldnt they have picked the stadium up and carried it to london or something?

I couldn't stand to watch it. I thought it was very weird. Just a big pagan ritual.

What's going to happen to all those buildings. The giant toilet seat, I mean bird's nest. Imagine the maintenance on that structure alone..............sort of a mammoth monument to vanity.

these are the only olympics where i couldnt stand watching either ceremony. mainly cause we were supposed to host this year until china bitched up a ****ing storm about it, and the rigging, 12 year old gymnasts, and dirty female wrestling was just too much for me. 2010 and 2012 look very promising because

1. 2010 is winter olympics at mt. whistler

a) friend of mine is competing in 2010

2. London will put on one HELL of a show in 2012, and they most likely will play fair

I'm expecting the british setting some new world records: "most cameras on one pole" and "biggest freak-out over a pointy object" are practically guaranteed to be broken.

Nope. The "choreography" was beyond horrible. It was so embarrassing.
I did like the transforming bus for about 5 seconds, until I found out that it contained a flowerbed of London's skyline, was excited again when I saw a chick that looked like Naomi the pornstar, but dissapointed when she didn't demonstrate the skills.
