Well today was the first class of my ap psych class and the homework that our teach assigned to us was to ask 5 various people what their deffinition of psychology was....This is where you guys come in, if you could post your deffinition of psychology, your age, and the amount of education that you have recieved thus far it would greatly be appreciated.

Psychology is yet another man-made scam, like religion, that is used to control the masses while creating jobs and making a large profit. Unfortunately for a Psych minor like me, it will be worth almost nothing. Psychology is hard to define and does little to resolve any real problems. I think it was just a stepping stone to Psychopharmacology which really rakes in the bucks.

I disagree: I think Psychology and the understanding of human behaviour/motivators is of prominent importance.

It's place in everything fro Law to Advertising to Politics must not be understated, and anything that gives you an insight into this is worth studying. Psychology is a very important field of study, and although it is not an exact science, it belongs in my opinion in the same category as many sciences.
