I had the Attack Platform.. kind of like an Oil rig... had a helo pad, missile launcher and some kind of gun.

It was like the GI Joe version of the Ewok village.....just not as cool.

Careful Matt... you're showing your age... you old fart!

I personally feel that the GI Joe "small" figures were in direct market against the star wars figures... that and no boy at that time wanted a doll the same size as barbie!!!!!

I didn't have the Aircraft Carrier... but we had the Joe Hovercraft, the Cobra Hydrofoil, the G.I Joe base... the Cobra base and the Attack Platform plus the Fighter jet and the Rattle and all sorts of vehicles. Ah... good times.

Still have most of it packed away somewhere... probably my moms place. I should whore it all away someday and buy guns.

Sweet, GI Joe talk! My brother and I had the carrier, my dad picked it up cheap from a local store that had special ordered it for someone who never picked it up. We had 2 of the F-14 lookalike planes to go with it as well. We also had the shuttle set. My dad bought us tons of GI Joe stuff, I think partly because he thought it was so cool and wanted to play with it as well (he still has a box with a bunch of original 12" figures that he had as a kid). I still have a ton of it, although most of the vehicles are missing major parts due to years of being played with.
