Well said Walker...

I've sold and bought on PBN. The last guy got mad because I told the truth in my feedback I left him. If he'd only been honest with me...

tittles like butt secks ninja phantom and sick custom pump cocker on PBN just leave me depressed and a bit scared of what will happen when I am old enough to need assisted living.

It does stand out to me when I see things like "a apple" and I know it should be "an apple" but I have been able to let that go since there are other wordings that bother me more.

When I hear someone tell their phone number and they say something like "555 65"oh"1. That is a zero, not the letter O.

using "America" instead of "USA" or even just "U.S."

"right" to marriage

can I? vs. may I?

bathroom vs. restroom(no tub or shower makes it a restroom)

pbnation is a dump. the small talk thread is a joke, and the Automotive forum is just filled with ricers and people who dont even own a car. The amount of flaming that goes on there is rediculous.

The only redeeming place is the Scenario/Big Game Talk thread. It seems to be free of the riff raff, mainly because us scenario ballers seem to be more mature. Occaisonally a speedballer will come in and flame us, but then we just report him and he gets banned. Simple. Actually, I don't think i've ever even seen a Mod in the Scenario thread. I guess we don't need one.

OSST is good on pbnation and i tend to frequent the cigar threads, but other than that i only check out the scenario thread. The rest of pbnation is a disgusting dump.

Which is why I'm so glad i found MCB. It's been a breath of fresh air to have a paintball forum free of immature 12 year olds.

I never did understand why they call it a restroom... I mean, you just go there to "take care of business"... once you start resting, people ask if you have fallen in.

Now, the one that caught me off gaurd at work, was when a guy goes "Hey man, where's your head??"
I almost pointed to my noggin and said "Right here, buddy"
But, then I realized he was talking about the crapper.

hmmm, having trouble with a correct wording.

"a" should be used most of the time unless it precedes a word that starts with a vowel such as "an apple" but when talking about sheridans "a RVA" just doesn't sound right. Are there odd exceptions for the "a" vs. "an" for acronyms or are sheridans good enough to warrent their own special english rules?

Well, you see, "a RVA" should be read as "a rear velocity adjuster" Not as "a arr-vee-ay"

Not only has our written language become lazy, but so has our spoekn language. SOOO... technically, "a RVA" is correct.
