I would kill it. Done deal. No use in letting it rip some kids face off before someone takes action. If someone had taken care of the animal that attacked you when you were a kid, how much better off would you have been?

On a side note, the lady who lives next door walks her dogs and lets them **** in my front yard. I warned her once, then next time there was dog**** in my yard I picked it up with a shovel and threw it against her front door. Now she walks her dogs around the block the other way. Problem solved.

That animal was taken care of. It was sent to a farm somewhere.

Put the dog down, save someone else a bite or worse. That's coming from a dog lover.

Minor rant: Why do people get dogs that don't suit their lifestyle and location at all? I'm assuming this happened in Florida. That must be hell on a Huskie with it massive fur coat.

Here here....I work in an apartment complex, and a few ppl have these huge dogs. In fact, just today a gal I work with wanted to know if I know anybody that wanted a dog as her son has this Eskimo (I think...although, might be a Samoyed..basically big white husky). The dog is friendly enough, but he needs to be OUTSIDE as evidenced by his running EVERYWHERE when he does get out.

I' m kinda with the poster above (someplace) that said there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Dogs are going to be dogs, it's up to the owner to keep them inline. It especially drives me nuts when you get ppl that get dogs such as huskies (because it's trendy) and then they're scared of them when they get big and/or temperamental. My Dad and his brothers had a Syberian/Samoyed mix growing up, they used to play pretty rough, but he never broke skin on any of them. It came from Dad just understanding pack mentality and enforcing "Whos the Boss" once in a while. You know you've done right when the dog was secured in the yard with a 1/4" clothes line rope.

Catchya on the Flip Side.....

Pfft. I think a 60grain .22lr would work just as well.

Or a 2x4 with a nail in the end.

I have a rusty machette you can borrow.
