Ahh, yes. Bailout wall street with $700b we don't have, and then give $110b in tax breaks thereby further reducing our ability to pay the $700b. Absolutely brilliant. This must be the "new math" I always hear about.

810 billion dollars? They could do anything with that. Deathstar is definately not even close to being out of the question. Since enough materials on earth dont exist we would also need to build a matter multiplier to duplicate expensive alloys..but 810 billion would easily pay for that. Absurd. Maybe the gov. wants to pass this because it is truly their fault for forcing these banks to make insecure loans? Christian Nelson - Way back at the beginning of this thread you mention that all of the factories are still here just sitting around or something. In fact, alot of them were literally shipped to china. Our MFG capacity has been reduced. Over there they can dump poison right into the streets, over here they spend as much money on environmental things as they do the actual MFG. The industrial capacity of china, and the lack of human rights, and the lack of environmental policy truly makes the US a non competitor in production. But indeed. If these rich people suddenly became poor, we regular americans would simply live a different lifestyle that we probably need to be kicked into anyways. Lets buy some chickens and veggie seeds so we can start over. The US had a good 200 year run...whos next?
