When you were young...

I was just listening to that song (brilliant CD) when I started thinking about the good 'ole days; before the Marines became my life and paintball got put on the back burner... Here's a picture of the fellas when we were sixteen. I'm almost twenty-three now, and while not "old", I did age considerably in the military. I miss the days when my virginal pursuits of women were my reason for existance. I miss working at the local field and playing every weekend. I mostly miss the friendships I had back then...

That's me in the kilt.

What's your story? Let's see your pics from back then.

I don't have any digital pictures that old. I'm pretty sure I don't have any paintball related pics that were taken before my college years anyway.

I'm only "almost" 28, but five years makes a big difference in digital technology.

Here's the only picture I have from "back in the day", taken in 1989. Semis hadn't really made it to our field yet, and everyone still used pumps.

When I was 18 my dad and 2 buddies went up to hell survivors for the michigan monster game. This was my first time playing outside of my home field, and a couple other renegade fields we had in highschool. Somewhere there is a picture of a group of guys with TS1s (AT85s) that called themselves the Dirty Dozen, the general that year was a member (99 I think). I was also in that pic. (if anyone knows where that might be online, please let me know.)

My brother drug me into the game. However, it was not a sttruggle for him.

Im on the right, my bro is on the left. Now, im taller than him, and I'm still playing religiously, unlike that schmo!
