Holy crap! At fisrt I thought he didn't know how to control the thing. I was thinking "Ha! I'm gonna laugh when he crashes this expensive RC chopper!"

I don't get how it hovers upsidedown. . .

That is very impressive, both the helicopter as well as the pilot. It is not my style of flight, I much prefer watching them flown realistically, but I have to admit it was pretty cool.

Apparently I have no idea how a helicopter works. Wouldn't you need to reverse the rotors to sustain an upside down hover?

Regardless.. wow.. very cool, wierd but cool.

Or change the pitch of the rotors.

yep, just a quick flip of a switch and it'll reverse the pitch to fly upside down. otherwise it would suck that thing into the ground before you could blink. it'll amaze you at how quick rc helis are. if you've never seen them fly in person, it's worth a trip to your local flying field to go watch.

as said just change the pitch and I'm not sure but for some of that I think they may even have the blades change pitch depending on where they are at in regards to the rest of the chopper.
