I'm guessing you work in B-port? You should come up for pump day later this month.

I am a freelance Lighting Designer. I design, build, program, and operate entertainment lighting systems for corporate events, fundraisers, and concerts.

I also own (with 2 other guys) a small Audio Visual staging company.
The Show Syndicate - if you care.

It's a pretty cool job. No two days are the same, I get to travel a lot and make a decent living. On the flip side it is pretty common to work a series of sequential 15-20 hour days. So, if you like to sleep this is not a career choice for you. Also, I work a lot of weekends - that's when the events are - so it is hard to find time to play paintball.

full time illustration student. means when i graduate i should make slightly more money than a regular artist lol.

past that i do odd jobs during the summer to pay for it all. I would work and get paid at our local field, but the owner knows he can't afford me lol. So I do it for free.

For a Living

I am an IT Business Software Consultant for The Hartford Financial Group.

Seeing that we are destined to be bought out within (2) years I plan on spending the rest of my life as a sexual surrogate to the Victoria Secret Models.

In evenings I'm either helping coach one of my kids' sports teams (football this fall, baseball in spring, basketball in winter) or home surfing while avoiding doing household chores.

Got into radiation protection after getting laid off from fiberglass plant and was playing paintball with a guy who had a health physics consulting company. Who ever said nothing good ever came out of playing paintball!
Was that fiberglass plant Knauff? we have one here in Redding.

Former Police Officer. Last assignment was in Special Operations

Now, I work for a company that provides complete computer solutions to Wal Mart Vendors. Our office is less than a half mile from Wal Mart's Home Office, so all of the Vendors for Wal Mart that don't have their own IT, or are satellite offices for their main company, we provide solutions for. Everything from complete Server installs and upgrades to plugging their monitor in 'cause it "won't come on".

My main responsibility is more on our internet providing side. We provide wireless internet service to multiple businesses and are building an infrastructure in the tourist town of Branson, MO. I'm the one who installs and configures a majority of the equipment and hopefully, I'll be getting a promotion to be in charge of all of the work in Branson. That will be a nice pay raise to Salary PLUS a nice commission.

What I love most about my job is that I could be fixing someone's laptop on Monday, configuring a bridges and routers on Tuesday, talking with customers/ clients on Wednesday, be 300' on a tower on Thursday and be installing equipment on Friday. I love every minute of it!
