Right now I'm running 11 tabs at once. Didn't have a problem with other versions (with the colored tabs add-in) up to about 15 or so. Just have to wait a few days for the add-ins to catch up to the new version, that's all! And did I mention that I love the built-in spell checker?

They did say that not all previous extensions were guarenteed to work....oh well.

Their 'whats new' list looked like all they really did was bundle in a lot of the most common extensions.

Admitedly, i haven't checked it out too closely yet though....is there more?

Although the integrated spell check is a good thing!
(maybe time to code MCB so it ONLY works w/ FireFox now!)

Good timing, I just downloaded 1.5 the other day but haven't installed it yet. 2.0 here I come!

They just dropped the "official" 2.0 package last night.

The only difference I found is that most of my favorite extensions are now "native". Nice improvements, but nothing mind blowing.

Ugh, their 'native' version of the session manager blows. Oh well.

I always wanted to like Firefox, and have downloaded it and tried using it many times, but have always found it to be fairly disappointing in the performance department, and always went back to using Avant (tabbed shell around IE6).
Downloaded v.2 on Monday, and was very impressed. Pages load quicker, opening tabs and downloading files no longer slow down the performance of the page I'm viewing. And the spell checker...woohoo! Although it seems to be missing some of the features I have gotten used to in Avant (more tabbing control, and url aliasing), I have made the switch to Firefox, now I just need to find some plug-ins to give me those missing functions.
On a side note, I also finally tried IE7, and was less than impressed.
