I've got one in font of me right now, it's not working too well.
Must vary.

[QUOTE=Murf425;570636]"Bullet hose" sums it up pretty well.

Based on things I've read, it was actually .30 Mauser (what a C-96 fires). Since the 7.62x25 is a bottle-necked cartridge, you'd have to do some major reworking of the internals to get a 9mm Parabellum to function. .30 Mauser, though, is a pretty close fit...and almost as powerful (less than x25, but more than 9mm)

Wrong choice of words when I used rechambered in post about smg.The Germans made a barrel kit in 9x19 that took mp38 clips.Bolt face was the same so no internal mods were needed.Converted guns were issued to ethnic troups on eastern front.

What are you trying to cram bullets backwards into? Most mags are rectangular tubes... sure some of the high cap mags have a slightly tapered shape... but even so I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a few in.

I can fit one into the top, no more.
Two different types of mags.
Like I said, it probably varies, stupid point to argue anyways. Just don't do it.
