Well, today I set up our pool and am beginning to put water in it. We didn’t want to wait until the weather was right for swimming and THEN rush to get things ready.
No we see how long it will take to fill. LOL
Hmmm gotta ask Heather's dad when he wants me to help out with his pool... it needs a new return pipe installed, and to do that requires some concrete work and digging.
THere is a PVC pipe doing it all on the patio, but it's a bandaid really.
All that work.. but swimming ater a long day sure can be nice!

Good luck. A buddy of mine is STILL trying to get his pool up and safe.
The rental house he is in had some REALLY bad renters before he came in, and they didn't do any pool maintenance for 2 years. Bill walked into 2 years worth of leaves, grass, dead insects whatever. He's been working the pool for nearly a year now and it's just getting to the safe zone.

I live in an aprtment complex that takes care of it all. The downside is I am still waiting for the pool to be setup. They have already taken care of the tennis and basketball courts as well as the horseshoe pits and putting greens though.

Yes, good luck with the repair. Pools are no good unless you can use them.

Water me and water don't like one another. I swim slightly better then a rock.

I usually go check the chemical levels in my hot tub once a week. I let it slip an extra week, and that water was NASTY. It's about time for a water change which is no fun because my power bill takes a huge hit getting 500 gallons back up to 103 degrees.
