They base the results from exit polls. I think it is pretty irresponsable seeing how just because you tell the pollsters who you voted for it does not mean you actually voted for that person. I had no interest in watching the results but the fience enjoys it so here I sit on line with the results in the back ground. I should be drinking seeing how I am on vacation and do not have to work in the AM.

No... the purpose of this thread is to discuss election night activities and how these friggin' pundits and reporters can figure out who will win in X state with less that 1% of the precincts reporting. Can exit polls be that accurate? In 2000, I was up until friggin' 4am. They flip flopped on Florida about three times and the damn election wasn't over for three months. There ought to be a law....

Second whiskey, Also broke into the leftover Halloween candy. Election night is going much better now, thanks. I was watching Fox News for a bit, it was hysterical, they're giving each other cookies, like it's a swan song for the channel.
