PS on last: Wasn't it great to see this and hear everyone saying "I'm voting to get the first black president in, and everything else is a step back?" McCain's not a good choice either, but way to focus on the important issues, guys.

I was more worried about the general reaction if Obama didn't get in. Keeping my stuff loaded in either case, like I have been since anything important is going on.

Well, now... assuming all the BS is behind us for a while, let's see what Obama can do. There is no question that we are headed into a buzz saw economically and, regardless of whose fault that may be, we are all, as a country and as countrymen, going to have to pull together and try to get something done. Obama may fall on his face and he may not. I am hopeful and reserving judgment until I see some performance. Election rhetoric dies on November 5 and now the truth will reveal itself through our new president's behavior. At least he sounds good when he speaks. It has been so long since we had a president who did not express himself like a caricature. D

Just damn. It is not like I didn't know this was going to happen. Kneejerk reaction for many just because of what the "Republicans did". Looks like not only do we get a Demo prez, but a predominant Demo House and Senate as well. Welcome to Socialism boys. |

so do we stand with all our heads together to try and save on bullets or do we just grab ourselves a glass of kool-aid? meh, there was no question the economy was in the crapper and circling, and honestly neither administration could really do anything about it. |
