Oh, yeah. While I'm not a huge fan of pickup-Wranglers like the Gladiator or Brute, they ARE pretty sweet. Just not my style. Still, there's still rumours about the JK getting the 2.8L CRD someday (But there's also rumours about the 5.7L Hemi too, so take that with what you will...still, a few people on JF have reported seeing JKs with manufacturer plates and CRD badges), and Mopar produced a prototype crate-kit to put the 2.8L CRD in the TJ as well, which is supposed to be available...someday.

EDIT: Jeep tests 3 CRD Wranglers, including a 2-door, LWB Wrangler-AKA, maybe a pickup?'

Speaking of prototypes, i saw a commander on the road with what appeared to be a "rubicon" package on it. It had dana 44 in the rear and what looked like 32s. It had a manufacturers plate on it. This was about 6months ago and as far as i know Chrysler plans to discontinue the commander.

The lens on my camera phone is cracked so the pics blurry.

Mmm...Commander Rubicon. The Commander is actually pretty cool, for a JINO.

I heard that Chrysler was going to kill either the Nitro or the Commander (Since they're basically the same vehicle, just with a few different options and badging) and give the other all the options of the one they kill.

Nitro=patriot as far as i know, the commander is fullsize.

Ever since they redesigned the liberty, they now have three vehicles that look almost identical in shape.

I just looked at the CRD link, its odd that they went back to leafsprings. I doubt it will ever go into production, would be awesome if they did though.
