Cannibalism as a means of survival.

Simple. You are in a life or death survival situation. There lays before you and a group of survivors, previously healthy, but now deceased humans. Do you consume the flesh of the fallen man in order to survive, or do you have a moral obligation that leads to your demise?

And no. You may not pull the "I will wait for rescue, it is sure to come before death by starvation!" I am talking an utterly hopeless situation where you can count on 2 weeks before ANYONE might find you, and the natural food supply is null, such as winter. The answer is simple. Yes, and live. Or no, and die. The flesh is not diseased. The person died from trauma.

And for fun, what do you think it would taste like? I would say Bear. I think people would just be greasy. And we have similar diets. Either that or pork.

I was told today that one pound of flesh equals over 3k calories. Plus you know it contains all the nutrients to support life

Rule of survival is put the thump on it and muck it on down!

be. We were not related by blood, but we were brothers nevertheless...not in some sort of Hollywood way, but in a real life "no ****" kinda way.

I'd do it, it might be hard but I'd do it. I wouldn't kill anyone to do it though.

I'd start chomping away and hope that a normal person tastes better than the "lite" version.

Agreed. Thats just brutal. Kill a guy for sustinance? Thats taking it a bit far. I would wait until someone died. There is sure to be one survivor in rough, rough shape.

Then again, if it was an expedition with someone like my brother... I couldn't do it. There would be no way to live with myself after consuming the flesh of my.. self?

Travel guides should add a little disclaimer about airline travel:

"Remember to never befriend your fellow airline passengers in the event you should have to eat one in the name of survival. Or fun."
