New Star Trek in IMAX May 09

Just got an email that I'll be receiving a Star Trek trailer for inclusion with my "The Day the Earth Stood Still" IMAX print...

Just thought I'd pass this little tidbit along since it verifies my predictions.

I would watch the trailer but skip the Stood Still movie, it looks like crap.

The new Star Trek isn't really NEW news... but I'm glad it being released in IMAX too.

The movie was originally supposed to be released in December, but was bumped to May a few months ago which prompted some of us IMAX guys to ponder if it was going to be converted. I actually saw the trailer on Quantum of Solace when we opened that, but since I just received an email telling me I'll receive a trailer for TDTESS, it is affirmation that it will be an IMAX movie.

To date IMAX has not gone to the expense of making trailers for movies they aren't releasing in the format (the only exception is "Catwoman")

The IMAX here at the World Golf Village gets the worst ****e to ever hit the screen. I wonder if the watchmen will be in imax?

Spock showing a lot of emotion? Kirk and Spock knowing each other before The Menagerie? I already have doubts about this flick.

I cried when Spock died, thats when I knew I was a creature of emotion. My girlfriend who is now my wife died laughing.

The old Star Trek movies kicked ***. The Voyage Home was my favorite as a kid, but looking back I'd have to choose Wrath of Khan as the best.

It'll definitely be available, now it'll be up to them if they want it. I should be getting it...
