Same here.
Pretty much every "rich kid" in school had one in the mid 80s as a status symbol. Those things were FRIGGEN HUGE!!

I think I had every toy on this list. The SR71 toy was probobly the most expensive one I had, or maybe the hovercraft.

I agree the commentary is very funny, though I dont care for the title. I LOVED GI-JOE. I still love the old stuff, including the comics.

Remember how the toys came completely unassembled, and you had to put everything together, but the very clever marketing packaged "blueprints" to make it seem like you were very involved.

Heh, I had about 5 or 6 of the toys on the list. I still have all my stuff... somewhere. I always liked taking apart the vehicles and putting them back together again. Dunno why...

I kept some of the "blue prints"
So far I've got the X-Wing fighter's blueprints and the AT-ST blue prints matted and in decent frames.
I still need to get some GI Joe blue prints framed up
but basically they're going up on the walls once I finish my basement office.

That was awesome... my brother and I also had the GIJoe Base, Cobra Command, Hydrofoil, Hovercraft and that Tactical Battle Platform thing. Just too much fun.
