Yeah I have the goatee going as well, I got bored of the full beard. First time I ever shaved completely my son (2 at the time) wouldn't let me near him!

I know how it is. I bounce between full beard and goatee. I shaved down to a moustache a couple years ago (like I had in the service) but didn’t like it much… and when I went full smooth my youngest threw a fit. She wanted me to “put it back on”. LOL

I even went with a "Hulk Hogan" (or Paul SR.) style about 6 years ago (I think it was that long... maybe more), which didn't look too bad. But my wife prefers goatee or full. And that is fine by me.

I'm not sure if I really like wearing a beard or just really hate shaving.

Kilt Fan
Whenever I have a big game coming up I do something funky with the beard (Colonel Sanders, Fu- Manchu, muttonchops) just to help get my game face on.

Usually it's all goatee all the time since that's the wife's preference. I've had a beard of one type or another since the sophmore year of high school.

Man... I must just have some sort of really odd problem. I just can't seem to get anything growing.

As a chick, I don't mind either way. I grew up with it. I've NEVER seen my dad without a full beard. Some guys look really odd without facial hair. A guy I dated in college looked REALLY odd when he had to shave for his summer work study (needed to use a respirator). I allmost fell over when I saw him shaved for the first time!

Overall it depends from person to person. Some look funny when fuzzy. The good thing- stubble is good for skin exfoliateing AND scratching itches.

I can grow a full beard in 2 weeks, so I tend to fluctuate between states of facial hair. But since I have been shaving since I was 12 and I have whiskers so tough an electric wont touch em and I have to use a new blade every time I shave, I lean toward having a beard. Unfortunatly now my whiskers are almost entirely white I add 15 years to my actual age (36). I like a beard but ...ahhh well I just cant make up my mind LOL.
