Beards (for men) are back!

Thank goodness I never shaved (ok so my daughter hasn't seen me shaved) but still... I use to grow one, get bored, shave it off... get bored, grow one again, etc, etc, rinse and repeat.

I broke down about 5 years ago, got a beard trimmer, and haven't shaved it off since.

Trends bah I prefer to buck them .

I've got a rockin' full beard. I like it. I sported the "captain morgan" handlebar and pointy goatee look for a while, too. It was fun. :)

I keep my hair long so the beard is kinda equivalent to changing a hairstyle to me.

If I shaved my beard my youngest would have a fit. LOL

I've known my wife for 8 years and she's never seen my chin. No one has for at least 10 for that matter. My daughter is only 6 months old, but she wouldn't like it if I shaved. What would she use to develop that iron grip? :)

Sweet, once I get out of the reserves out she grows again. Yea I had one at 17 I had shaving freaking razzor burn to hell... found things to help with it but nothing to stop it.

There is a reason for mrwisker.(the very nice Mexican people called me that)
I've had a beard for the most part since high school (85)
About a year or so ago I had to shave it for a job (safty reasons)
My wife said quit. (gotta feed the family though)
Everywhere I went i got the same thing..hey, who's the new guy.
If I can help it nobody will ever see me without it again.

Every time I go with just the 'stache I get mistaken for Ron Jeremy. So I keep the beard except around Halloween. Cheap costume.

oldschool 04-19-2006 10:05 PM

I just recently shaved mine off after many years

Guess I will keep it off until beards go out of style again
:)
