If you want to see how this guy really performs, SRT USA posts footage and results for all their rallys. As far as an American race car driver goes, he fits in quite well as he crashes and wrecks his car quite often. As someone mentioned earlier, American's should like rally--fast cars, guaranteed crashes, great chances of seeing spectacular totals... but they're all trail events, so unless you're at the right place, you'll never see it first hand... unlike a circular track where everything is right there.

Wow people are getting pretty uptight around here. 'I don't like the cars you like so DIAF'

Does that WRX have its front wheel drive disconnected? I can't see how he could do some of that donut stuff with awd.

If this is the same car (or same set up) as his rally car, the hand brake is locking the front wheels. It's a modification of Subaru's Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD). With the production STi, the driver can manually set the front wheels to receive as little as 35% of total torque.
