My first car was a 1979 Mercury Bobcat (wagon), the Mercury version of the Pinto. I found a junked Bobcat Sport, and took the nifty sport steering wheel and front spoiler (with factory brake cooling ducts!) off it.
Great car, and the 2.3L ran great. I could probably still rebuild that carb blindfolded...
Cosworth made a DOHC aluminum head for that 2.3L if you can find one.

what heads does the 351 have? my old man used to have a 88 crown vic police package with a 351 windsor with the W heads and the butterfly carb/fuel injection. we had to replace the whole upper intake once and only the popo packages has those carbs and they cost like $800.
