Holy crap! 100$ for a game?!

Meh, I'll probably always stick to PC gaming. Not that I play games that much. They usually bore me quickly.

As a kid, I used to be able to play games for hours, weeks, months even. Now, I can hardly get myself to finishing Dark Messiah, Gothic 3, or NWN2. Playing the SupCom beta online is fun.. for a few days... Then it just becomes a drag and I don't play it anymore.
Sam and Max: Culture Shock was perfect though. For the price of a movie ticket, it birngs you 3 hours of solid entertainment.

I was always a PC gamer until the xbox came along.
I found the controller usage is strictly a matter of how well the game is coded.

For the most part, I still prefer to play FPS games on the PC.
But some games just REALLY nailed the xbox controls just perfectly. Halo, for example, bungie managed to setup those controls sooooo perfectly that I dont even miss the keyboard and mouse.

The first Call Of Duty.........ugh!
It took 1/2 an hour of fiddling w/ the controller options just to make it playable!

Either way, I think Halo3 is MORE than going to live up to it's hype.
I just hope they find a good "middle ground". Halo2 concentrated SO much on great mutli-player that the single player seemed to be an after-thought compared to the first one!

Even the demo-videos and developer interviews are getting me jazzed for this one!

FREEDOM, which goggle are you playing in again? That's the closest thing I've ever seen to playing paintball against the Master Chief !

Eh, I currently only own USB mice and keyboards (Logitech g15 keyboard and g5 mouse) so thats useless. I can't do controllers for fps, they are great for anything else, but theres no substitute for a mouse and keyboard.

It will handle the mouse (they have an adapter), but you would have to bust out some other keyboard. honestly, past the lighted keys and screen, there isnt much special for gaming with the G15 (have them at work and home)

I actually tried them out the last time I was in the market for a new keyboard. I must say that I did like the "feel" of the keys. Unfortunately that wasn't enough to justify the price tag for me though.
