This is why you don't drink and drive.

Before:

After:

It's axles are about two and a half feet apart now. This was the driver's fourth, and last, DWI. A reminder to be thankful on this holiday. You could have missed it entirely.

You're lucky you can still figure out the make of the car by just looking at it. I had a drunk driver crash infront of my property, and we literally couldn't recognize the make or model of the car untill we found the "Sunfire" emblem off the back. Drinking and driving is one of the worst mistakes you can ever make, and more than likely will be your last.

I know it's completely inappropriate, but I giggled like a madman.

My parents had a similar event happen in front of their house. The guy had a mint condition 1986 Camaro and ran it into the ditch, where it ramped up the side of the driveway, took the top off a (thankfully unused) telephone pole, tearing off the T-Top and ejecting the passenger at this point, before rolling to a stop and flinging the driver deep into the thistle patch around the marsh.

The car was finished, he got arrested and convicted, and he needed a lot of stitches to close himself up because of where and how he landed. And yet still, he was incredibly lucky.

They are the same make and model, not the same car. I didn't have pictures of the Olds before it was recovered. They are for comparison only. Both drivers were killed in the wrecks.

Ah, then you should have said it wasn't the exact car. Yes, it was part humor and part confusion about the color.

I have always wondered why drunk drivers have their driving license taken away. We should take their drinking license away. Any attempt to buy alcohol with a revoked drinking license should be a felony. A second offense drinking and driving should be automatic death penalty. Of course I don't run the world. Yet.

the irony being that drunks are usually so relaxed that they tend to survive the wreaks in much better shape then the sober innocents they hit.
personally i think they should get rid of all the DUI lawyers and drown the drunk driver in the prison toilet when they're taken in.
